A cheap and unfortunate necessity

The main problem though is that the output is quiet. I got it so I could connect my phone to my car's aux jack. But even when my car's volume is cranked up, you can barely hear the audio. Apparently this has to do with new regulations to help people's hearing, but it's quiet to a ridiculous level, I can't hear my audio on the highway. It's fine for earbuds but not for other aux devices...

Good alternative to new headphones

I have tons of normal headphones and this allows me to use my headphones with my current iPad. This was also cheaper than buying new headphones. I would recommend this option.
