Prior to this purchase, I would have to bring my bluetooth headphones and my wired headphones to have the option of switching watching videos on either device.

It does that just fine. I like that it has the flexible cable between the USB and headphone ports, so it's not sticking straight out of the USB port as much as a single solid adapter would.

Worn out after <6 months

I just bought in October and already need a replacement! At $9, still less costly than a new set of earbuds..

Works but could be thicker cable

Bought this and it resolved this issue (thanks Apple for creating solutions for the problems you make).

Bought two generic adapters for the price of one Apple-made product. Both died within three months! The Apple brand for the iPad is the way to go.

Works great!

The cord is really thin though so it makes me worry that it'll snap when I pull on it and it gets caught on something in my car. Bought it from Best Buy for just $9. Not bad.
