    Never buy this product from ebay or second hand. This product new from best buy works perfect. Cheap ones from other sources will fail and not work right.

    This adapter works very well to allow Bose Nouse Cancelling Headphones to plug into an iPad Pro 11”. All functionality if the headphones work through this adapter including volume control, next tract and taking phone calls!

    I purchased to connect my earphones to iMac. It makes it more difficult to connect and quality of hearing/speaking via earphones is not good.

    For a music setup, on my MacBook pro 16", the headphone jack is on the right, but with this, I can put it on the left. I can also use a wired connection to my iPad Pro 11 which has no headphone jack.
