The best value USB-C dac/amp period! I use this all the time for my traditional 3.5mm headphones on my Android phone and Steam Deck. The audio quality is excellent. The volume can also get very loud with my earbuds.

This is essentially an advanced USB sound card for less than $10. You would need to spend $150 to get something that is even slightly better. Seriously, it is incredible the dynamic range and power that comes from this. Tested on my laptop because I was unimpressed by the flat sound from the integrated audio. This doesn't work as well for android phones, I get low volume. But for pc, I have to keep it at 25-50% because it's so powerful. It may not be the most durable, but it's $9. Hard to argue about the value proposition even if it breaks in a year or two.

There's not much to say about this beyond that it does what it's supposed to. It wasn't terribly expensive, which, had it been priced like a lot of Apple's adapters (read: exorbitantly expensive) I would have been pretty annoyed, since the new iPad Pro has no headphone jack, just the new USB C plug. I'm still a little annoyed that they didn't include this in the iPad box like they did when the iPhones switched over to Lightning cables. But, this works as expected.

Great for using with the latest iPhones. I occasionally will use my iPhone with a wired audio connection for higher quality. This dongle is small and easily lost so be careful.

I was hesitant to the dongle life when apple removed the headphone jack. But now that every OEM has removed the jack from their phones, this is the only quality usb c adapter that actually lasts and the great fix for any wire headphones user regardless of smartphone manufacturer.

Most Apple branded adapters are inexplicably expensive, but this one is a reasonable price, easy to use and works well. If you have any product with a USB type C connector and no 3.5mm audio jack, this is the go to product.
