No microphone or hi res audio support

I bought this prior to receiving the new iPhone 15 back when it released so I could use my headphones with them straight away, but these do not support microphone input like the lightning adapters did. The DAC specifications are also just shy of the Apple Music's own lossless streaming quality. I'm really not sure how this product made it out the door.

Not the best USB-C Audio adapter

The Apple USB-C adapter limits volume, compared to other brands: Google, Samsung, etc. Plugging into my dash, the audio was significantly LOWER than other brands.

Apple has once again changed their connectors. As a result, I needed this adapter for my headphones to connect to my new iPad.

Changing inputs in every two year hurt Apple consumers. I really don’t understand the necessity of this usb-c for iPad Pro. But if you have one of these iPads and you don’t want to retire your best headphone this is a must

Have older headphones that you want to use with your Apple iPad Pro then consider this as a fix. I can't comment on the long term reliability of this adapter, but I'm not thinking that it'll last more than a year of normal usage.

This was recommended to solve my speaker problem, but it didn't solve my problem. It says headphone jack and not speaker jack! My problem, I guess.

Pretty cheap quality, but at an expensive price. Typical apple. It became faulty after a few months of use. Might as well buy several of the cheaper ones since they last just as long.

Its very quiet. Another adapter I have is much louder and clearer sound. Not sure why this is rated so highly. Probably because most people rating have nothing better to compare it with.

With the amount of money that we are spending on the new iPad pro, it's a joke that we need to spend an extra $10 on this.. Also it doesn't always work due it not being passive and needing to be unplugged and plugged back in

Just a normal USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack, nothing special about this thing, no special wires, no special shielding, no special DAC/AMP, no special connectors, or no special soldering job.

I don't know if it was the item itself or if all Apple USB-C adapters are quiet. Using the adapter for headphones or AUX for my car was not satisfying. Ordered Google-made adapters.
