USB-C adapter for new iPhone

I use it to connect to a 3.5 mm cable connected to a speaker system at work so it is a must have. So far it’s worked great and the price is very reasonable.

Great device, annoyed that it is needed

It is darn annoying that neither the iPhone X’s nor new iPad Pro come with a standard audio jack for regular earbuds. Also, that, in its absence, one cannot use earbuds and have the iPhone plugged in to charge. Oddly the new MacBook Pro does have a standard audio jack plus 4 USB-C. new iPad Pro has only a single USB-C. Enter this little adapter. Clean and crisp, excellent audio throughput. Annoying to have to carry two sets of earbuds— Lightning for iPhone and old standards for the other devices. When AirPods audio clarity improves, that’ll be next. Meantime, this does the patch job.
