Worked exactly as expected, no issues -- detected my non-Apple brand earbuds immediately. I just wish it had a splitter, so I could charge at the same time. Sound jacks are still important, Apple.

Recently upgraded to the new iPhone and had to get a new adapter. Works well as it should.

This adapter allows us to listen through our older lighting plug. It makes it easy to keep hearing our music.

Love to have a couple of these around In different places- my office, the car, in my pack, etc so I can Always plug my favorite headphones in to my phone and listen to music and books on line. So small they literally take no room but also easy to lose if you’re not careful!

Bought this apple brand usb-c adapter because the product bought from amazon is just very little bit loose that my 2018 macbook is just way too sensitive and wont read anything connected through a generic usb-c adapter when a little movement is present. This is the best one for me.

Apple strategically makes different cables/power cords for different Apple products. This allows you to use your existing cords and just have to use this adapter so you aren’t lugging around a bunch of different cords.
