Needed this to listen to corded headphones. The only drawback is your phone needs to be charged because you can’t listen to music and charge your phone.

This headphone jack has been by far one of the best products when it comes to being able to connect and share my songs with my clients in different dance studios. The adapter allows me to plug into other auxiliary cable only products while ensuring that the music sounds amazing.

I like the small form factor of this USB to 3.5MM adapter for my Windows laptop. I use it because the DAC inside the apple dongle is way better than the built-in one in my laptop. Clear audio comes through the super tiny DAC inside the apple enclosure located near the USB connection on this item. Only con I have is when connecting this to a USB C connector on an android phone the audio levels are low compared to the google 3.5mm dongle, but for windows laptops with terrible DACs I would recommend this.

You can't beat the price or the sound quality on these Apple dongles. If you think you need a dedicated DAC for your phone, this little thing will likely sound better than most sub-$100 DACs out there if you're not looking for extra power to drive huge fancy cans.
