I am sure it works just as well as the lightning style to connect to your car auxiliary ports. That is our main use.

Great for phones with no headphone jack

Good little converter

I use this for the headphones that plug into the headset on planes, as I travel a lot. It allows me to carry only those headphones to use in my iPhone as well.
