I purchased this adapter to use for connecting an audio cable to an Aux in port in a vehicle that does not support Bluetooth. It works as intended, but Apple should really consider their customer base when designing their phones and accessories. You would think that when you pay in excess of $1k for a phone that you wouldn’t have to get “nickeled and dimed” to death for accessories and a 3.5 mm stereo Audio jack should still be present in the phone (or the adapter included at the very least), but I digress. All in all, this adapter does as intended, but I do question reliability during regular usage. The jacket on the cable section of the adapter will wear out quickly as does with all Apple brand adapters with the infamous jacket deterioration and splintering. It is flimsy and kind of weak in construction. Not sure about its life cycle. I will probably be looking for a reasonable after market adapter that is better constructed for its purpose. I do recommend this item if it is a necessary purchase, but I am sure there are better options out there.

This is an essential adapter for the new iPhone with USB-C if you ever want to connect a pair of headphones or directly to any kind of audio equipment. I use it to connect to a 3.5 mm cable connected to a speaker system at work so it is a must have. So far it’s worked great and the price is very reasonable.

It works with anything that is a usb c, not just apple

Bought this for my earphones to convert when using my new iPad. I have used it once. (Would normally use WiFi headphones). So far, so good. It’s small and cable is thin.

To use your regular earpiece with your new type c devices.... it just works and i don’t think $10 for an Apple product is too much. Buy this if you need one.

Apple - USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter is of good build quality and helps is in using your old favorite 3.5 mm headphones as well as most of the AUX cables.

Works well with new iPad that no longer has the headphone jack. Only problem is that you cannot charge iPad when this connector is used to connect your earphones.

I bought this brand to replace the one I got from Google. The build of the accessory is slimmer and it works fine. My dad also enjoys this accessory.

It's made by Apple so you know it works and is good quality. My speaker on my iPhone is not loud enough so I use this to connect an external speaker.

Hasn’t broken yet and no problem with use. Apple products are durable as always.

The new iPads do not have a jack for headphones so I purchased this. I do not like ear buds and use larger, cushioned headphones. Since I already had some that I love, I did not want to spend the money for expensive bluetooth headphones. The only problem is that I cannot charge the iPad and use this at the same time.
