Very disappointed
|Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple did not manufacture this product to be compatible with wired headphones that have a microphone. It only has the two rings inside the 3.5mm port so fifer using it with any headphones that have mic support.

Defective item out of the box.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter that worked for years, until it died. So I tried 4 new ones (!!!!) and they were all defective. When I realized Apple sold one, I figured problem solved! I don't use any Apple products currently, but their hardware is top notch! I was extremely disappointed that this one did not work correctly out of the box. I even tried it with my friend's iPhone and iPad - and it just doesn't work well enough to hear ample volume and clarity from my car stereo (even unlocking the extra volume from the iOS settings still left it muffled and sounding like am radio fidelity). It's sad that even Apple can't produce one of these! Very sad. I had to buy an Insignia one to finally get one that works correctly!

Apple and Android is like apples and oranges
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I purchased this item it was for the galaxy note 20 because they have done away with the auxiliary jack unfortunately but atleast had a solution to fix that issue.. I wouldn't suggest this piece because it is made specifically for Apple and will not work on Android.. What I mean is that it wi work In the sense of working but being as it is made by Apple for Apple products you will not get full functionality out of it.. My volume was very very low and couldn't be adjusted at all but I actually had to go back to the store because someone stole the item out of the box from the store so I actually didn't get to use them the first time..

Bad sound quality, poor connectivity
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DONT BUY THIS. I usually don't pay much attention to bad reviews because I think people will be nit picky but all bad reviews for this are 100% accurate! The sound quality is insanely muffled, I have to raise the volume of my speakers all the way to 32 (max volume) when usually 16 is super loud, with my set up. Even then it's insanely white and thin AND muffled sounding. On top of that connectivity is very hit or miss, sometimes you'll plug it in and it just simply will not connect , as its not plugged in at all, other times there's a very loud (louder than music ever gets with this thing) clipping sound. This things Is cheap cost wise but it's not even worth the little you pay for it. It's trash straight out of the box.

Not for Samsungs
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it because the specs said it work for Samsung phones. Sure it works, but it's barely audible when I am on the treadmill running. There are a lot of reviews complaining about the same after I purchased. I trusted the Apple brand and it is a big mistake. I should have reordered the one I got from Amazon before.

Adapter Not For Android Devices
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My rating is only based for Android devices. Employee told me this adapter works with Android because the usb-c is a universal connector. I was skeptical about this but trusted his word. Now he was correct about the usb-c being universal, however Apple has and still seems to limit their products just for Apple. Plugging in adapter only allowed a small beep or click noise. No audio signal passed through and the Android phone didn't even register a headphone connected. Adapter was replugged to phone, even turned the adapter upside down and still no register of the adapter. Because of this I had no choice but to return this useless to me adapter and buy one from another store (Target) that actually states it supports Android. If Bestbuy had an adapter for Android I would have purchased it but unfortunately this Apple adapter is all they stock.

When I use this it just drains the battery fast
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I use this it just drains the Ipad Pro's battery quickly and because it isn't part of a multi task unit that charges the Ipad at the same time I have to keep switching from headphone to a charger and back. Don't waste money on this item, it worth it just to buy cheap wireless headphones so you can listen and charge at the same time

Misleading
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was the only one in store. It didn’t connect to my iphone 12. I even used the website beforehand to see all the available options but only this one showed up. I had to use Amazon to get the right product.

Worst Apple product
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not good at all, I bought these for my Mother in Law and she kept complaining about the sound not being loud enough when connected to her car. I tried it out and she wasn't kidding! I ended up returning this item for a Samsung branded one and it is quite the difference. It's definitely a lot better. Crisp sound.

Drop dead quiet volume on smartphones only
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible, volume is very low on any device that isn't a Windows laptop, MacBook, or game controller, definitely a driver's issue. I tested nearly all OS's with type c inputs

Apple quality holds up
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Broke before i even used it? I'm not sure if it was broken, or just Apple quality. I thought my car speakers were doggy when I got this, but it was just this aux cord. I ended up getting Insignia aux, and it worked perfect.

Poor Quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an android phone and this was recommended by an associate. My personal experience was this is absolute junk! The sound had a constant low hum, and the volume was horrible! I returned it, spent the extra money, and got a combo that also allowed charging at the same time.

Volume output low
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it and used it for my Samsung and the volume of my music was really low. Not sure if it is not compatible with androids, but it should not matter since it's an aux to type c cord.

Lies - no pickup of merchandise occurred
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is false, I signed up to be picked ip outside and after waiting a while and no delivery, I went inside just to be told I would have to wait in the long lines to talk to someone about cancelling or finding the item to hand to me. I left the store with no merchandise at all so I never picked anything up.

Aux cord
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Doesn't have the volume more than if it were just the phone playing music. The whole purpose was to listen in my vehicle, and I cannot hear it hardly at all.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm returning this and the cord I bought with it. I bought so I could listen to Pandora thru my car radio. I have to turn the volume way up and still can't hear it. The quality is not good!
