Low volume on Samsung
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Samsung S21 FE 5G correctly read the Apple adapter as a USB device, unlike several cheap generic ones I tried. However, the sound, even at max volume, was barely audible. I have since read that this is a known issue when using the Apple adapter on a Samsung phone.

Don’t bother, buy a USB C Hub
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it seems like you would need this adapter in order to use a wired headphone, it is better in my opinion to not buy this but instead buy a hub for slightly more that also plugs into the USB C port and also adds an HDMI jack, USB 3.0, USB C headphone jack and a USB C port to charge with.

Adaptor
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works, but does not produce enough amplitude to lower windows in car.

It has issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When using with earbuds that have inline volume control, when you press up or down the volume will either go all the way up or down on its own. Volume control works fine when plugged into my iPad.

I believe it's only compatible with Apple devices
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It didn't work with my Pixel 9a. It just made clicking sounds through my headphones. I ended up returning it and buying a different brand. 3/5 stars since it works for 1/2 of the smartphone market

The Missing Link
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked exactly as expected, no issues -- detected my non-Apple brand earbuds immediately. I just wish it had a splitter, so I could charge at the same time. Sound jacks are still important, Apple.

Apple …Enough said.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this adapter to use for connecting an audio cable to an Aux in port in a vehicle that does not support Bluetooth. It works as intended, but Apple should really consider their customer base when designing their phones and accessories. You would think that when you pay in excess of $1k for a phone that you wouldn’t have to get “nickeled and dimed” to death for accessories and a 3.5 mm stereo Audio jack should still be present in the phone (or the adapter included at the very least), but I digress. All in all, this adapter does as intended, but I do question reliability during regular usage. The jacket on the cable section of the adapter will wear out quickly as does with all Apple brand adapters with the infamous jacket deterioration and splintering. It is flimsy and kind of weak in construction. Not sure about its life cycle. I will probably be looking for a reasonable after market adapter that is better constructed for its purpose. I do recommend this item if it is a necessary purchase, but I am sure there are better options out there.

Good for connecting basic old wired earphones
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product solves the problem of using older headphones with newer smartphones. The build quality is low, the unit is quite frail. You cannot attach these in front of heavier headphone cables like the sennheiser over ears.

A solution for no earphone jack on iPhone, iPad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only Apple branded solution for no earphone jack on iPhone and iPad. The cable itself seems flimsy in build and diameter. It does the job, and price is reasonable.

Neat little sound machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good dongle, keeps the quality of the music with playback. Not that loud, so if you have an amp this would be great.

Well...
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are so easy breakable. Oh my, I bought like 30 packs already from the start of my iPhone purchase. This is very disappointing that they break so fast. I really don't want to buy Airpods because they use bluetooth that shortens my iPhone's battery life. Plus they need to charge which is very annoying because that means I can't listen to music whenever I want. It is easier to use regular earphones and these adapters than buying Airpods.

Needs A Sturdier Design
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This adapter does not work with some brands of headphones. The manual doesn't warn of this issue. Had to purchase three to find a match. Also the Usb-C tip is not seated into the frame of the adapter securely. It bends and is no longer usable. I have already had to purchase a new adapter. P.S. JBL's headphones work with the adapter.

Don’t recommend this one
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just hate that I even had to spend money on something like this. The after market ones are better in that they give you the ability to charge while using it. Bluetooth are nice but when flying I like to have my own headphones so this does come in handy I honestly don’t use this one anymore I have another that has a charging port.

Thanks to Best Buy for working around Apple Issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the one way around the changes in the plug ins for the iPad Pro. Apple is famous for making you change connections for their products from one generation to the next. Costing the Apple user $$$. I appreciate Best Buy for having it available in their store. Not their fault, but Apples.

Fiddly but useful to have around.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very small with decent sound. Unfortunately unpredictable behavior. It only seems to work consistently if you do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING during playback.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried this with my Google Pixel, and it gives out low volume. I like to plug in to drown everything out, and this dongle doesn't do that. Do not recommend.
