Because I had my older mac book stolen, I had to buy a new mac. They have changed the inputs to the new type-c. I needed this to use all of my external accessories. Works great.

Bought this item for an Apple SuperDrive 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive. Just in case the recipient needed one or needed an extra adapter for other Apple products

Apple accessories are expensive because they’re quality. I can get a cheaper accessory but this one is better than the generic ones.

This works great, but you are paying a ton more for the apple brand, You can find better adapters for your laptop elsewhere for much less money.

This product is super east all you have to do is plug it in to the ipad and plug it in to the other usb and all your stuff comes onto the ipad, it's awesome!

For what it needs to do, this product works fine. Connection is snug but doable. No issues with data transfer. Sad that Apple felt it wasn't necessary to include this with the MacBook, but hey ...

If you're looking at this product, chances are you have one of the new MacBooks. Needless to say, this adapter is needed if you plan on hooking anything USB enabled. Works well with little issues.

Apple USB C to USB adapter this is the best one I looked at. The quality is great and works well. If you buy quality you buy once.

This adapter is so useful and helped me to use an affordable mouse other than the Apple mouse. So far I love it and definitely recommend getting the adapter

This product works. The one thing I don’t like is the fact that I bought a MacBook Pro which I love to replace my old MacBook. This adapter should have been included in the purchase of the new computer. I fill like Apple is nickel and diming it’s customers by not including those type of adapters with the new computer.

For us still bent on downloading music via CDs this little adapter is vital. I couldn't get my external CD/DVD drive to work by hooking it up to my multi-port external hub adapters I had to get a dedicated USB-C to USB 3.1 Gen 1 adapter which hooks the drive directly up to my Mac and not through my hub adapter. I believe the power pass-through port on the hub adapter is not sufficient to power my external CD/DVD drive so I run the drive directly from one of my USB-C ports on my Mac. Works fine...
