So far it's working great. For the price it's worth getting a better quality cable like this one. In particular I like the fact that the port has a snug fit so the cable won't fall out.

This adapter does everything that it needs to. It allows your Mac to connect to USB drives, printers, etc. It also allows you to plug your phone into your Mac, if you have the 2016 MacBook.

The newer MacBook Pro only comes with USB-C connectors. Sadly my external HD are still usb, but with this adapter I can easily plug my external HD in at anytime.

this is a must buy item, just goahead and get it and save yourself a trip back to the store , this is the future plug and only way to connect your older usbs to the laptop

You have to have this if you want to connect anything using USB. The fact that is is small is a plus, just throw it in your bag and your set.

Great product! I needed to connect my external hard drive to my MacBook to transfer videos for editing and it worked perfectly.

This is very much an Apple product. It does not feel or look cheap, because it is not. It is compact and gets the job done. Great for when I want to hook up an external device to my MacBook 12inch.

I'm kind of upset I need all these adaptors, but I works just fine. It's easy enough to keep up with. You NEED it for USB functionality so just bite the bullet and buy it.

This is just needed on the newer versions of the MacBook, although I think it’s be more convenient to have it built in the laptop. It works just fine with it being plugged in.

Who doesn’t need this? We all need this. This makes my phone connect to my projector. This works perfectly. It never fails.

Simple clean and easy use design in normal Apple fashion. Makes it so I can connect my phone and other peripheral devices since there is no longer a USB connector of traditional fashion

It is white. It is an adapter. It does connect USB-C to USB as required. That is more than enough for most people.

I use it to connect old USB attachments to my new all-in-one computer through the USB-C port on the side. Much more convenient than accessing the ports on the back.

Needed to pull dashcam footage from a MicroSD. One adapter plus this adapter = Dashcam vids to my iPad Pro.

With the new Mac, that change a lot to it. We need this adapter to connect usb to usb-c. I haven’t use it yet but I know I’ll need it for school.... I think.

With all the new mac connections this is a must have for ur devices u still use. Works great. Especially ur flash drives.
