    I tried one other adapter but my external drive kept turning off due to not getting enough power. This one from Apple has worked perfectly and has not given me any issues.

    I think that my Apple computer should have had both the USB and USB-C built in. That said; this is only a minor inconvenience, and this adapter works well.

    This USB adapter may not look fancy but it let you use from old USB devices with the new MacBooks. No Problems, but over-priced.

    Maxbook pro does not come with usb so this is a good alternative when needed

    This little adapter works with everything I have tried in it. It will charge your iPhone with additional iPhone charging cable. It also works to print to a USB printer.
