If you have a new MacBook, this is a must, everything is usb c but this is going to solve that.

It is what it is…an adapter to allow the use of an older USB drive with a newer Macintosh. It’s a valid complaint that these things are too expensive, but they are well built and very reliable, too.

Bought this with hesitation since there are so many other products available that do the same thing. But since it was on sale it was cheaper than competitors and I always love Apple products over the competitors. Glad I went with this product, works flawlessly and I can tell it will last. Being an Apple product, this adapter is known to work 100%. At the current, reduced price of $9, it is a real deal for accessing older USB devices with a MacBook Pro. Of course, if you buy one of the other adapters, it is not likely needed, but, I find it easier to pull this adapter out when traveling.

You probably need this or something comparable to use your USB Type A peripherals with the new Mac Mini M4. It also works with the iPhone 15 and later, as well as the iPad 10th gen and later.

when you spend $2700 on a laptop, you would think that you would get EVERYTHING you need with that laptop, but you are buying Apple so you know that isn't the case. I am a huge fan of my purchase, and would do it again in a second. This is something you have to have, since most accessories haven't transitioned over to the USB C way of life yet, there will be a time in the future to where we will not need extra dongles, but this is 2018 and dongles are a way of life in the Apple World..... well if you are using their latest and greatest it is...

I have only owned this product for a month, but so far so good. It is pretty much the best add on you can get if you're buying a new Macbook Pro since they don't come with USB ports. So far, it's been excellent, and hopefully it'll last for a long time without the need to replace it.

works as expected, using with new m1 Mac mini to connect an older usb A device and device works perfectly. actually surprised how robust this adapter is and how secure the physical connection to the computer is.

I also did not want to order this product online although the pricing online was a little less expensive. I felt that if there were a problem with any of your products, I could go back to your Flushing, Queens New York store for a replacement. Although there was a slight delay due to slight stocking issues, I reserved this product for pick-up in your Flushing, Queens New York store.
