It’s a simple device, easy install and functional.

OEM cord. Functions as it should. No breakage or other problems with consistent use. I’ve used this cord to link multiple devices including my iPhone. I would get this one again instead of a knock off brand. It’s worth the extra money.

I love a good dongle. Who doesn’t, am I right? But the most important thing for any dongle is that it works...that it’s well made and does what it’s supposed to do. Other guys’ dongles? Lots of promises and features and doo-dads. But they come up short. All sizzle, no steak. Not this big guy. This is the biggest, baddest dongle you’ve ever laid your hands on. It doesn’t try to lure you in with empty promises and weird stuff. It lays it out for you plain and simple. “I take USB stuff and make it do USB-C stuff.” And then it does. Don’t settle for an inferior dongle that can’t give you what you need. Trust Tim Cook. He’s bout that dongle life.

Apple products to Apple products. That’s what I prefer. Look I try my best not to mix match. My outlook is very simple stay with one you can only blame one. I have iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air simple. They all talk to one another simple. All the same company and all same company cables simple. Even though I bought the cable from Best Buy, Apple will step in and replace if I need them to. That’s what I call customer service. Try that with Google, Facebook, or any other of those android companies. I recommend this and ANY other Apple product I have purchased any day of the week above anything. Apple products for the most part are just very good quality.

Had to get it to use my MacBook with a usb and mainly everything has usb but they just want you to spend More money that’s ok it was not super expensive had it for a couple weeks so far hope it last a long time

I was looking for an adaptor for my MacBook Air. I needed to go from a standard USB to the small one. I knew Apple would have one, but I wanted to try to save a little money. I talked to an associate and he took me right to the generic version I needed and saved me about $20. I ocnsider that excellent customer service!

Decided to spend a couple extra dollars and get Apple brand adapter. Worth it. Solid, no glitches, using with new M1 MacBook for backup drive and other USB devices Solid!

I was having some trouble with my non-Apple USB adapters and communication with a USB microphone. I bought this as an open box and it was a reasonable value. The drawback is that this version doesn't include the ability to pass-through power (like the lighting version) without upgrading to a much more expensive AV model that includes either HDMI or VGA connections as well. Using it with my iPad Pro during video conferencing, I've come to realize how quickly the battery drains in the iPad under that load. I wish this had power passthrough and a 3.5 mm audio jack for use on the iPad Pro - but for the open box price, it works well and reliability to connect USB-A devices.

After upgrading to a MacBook here I needed a USB to thunderbolt adapter to use my USB devices. This works great for what I needed. It’s unbelievable how well it work. I would buy this again if I needed to.

With the Macbook Pro (2017) only containing USB-C ports, you need a dongle to adapt with other USB cables. At times it can be hard to pull out the USB from the dongle or place it inside but it does the job well!

We recently updated our home computer from a 2011 iMac. The new iMac has only USBC inputs. In order to connect all existing devices that only have USB A plugs, we needed an adapter. This does the job. I can connect Garmin watch, Garmin navigator, digital cameras or any other devices. Although our printer is on a WiFi network, I keep it connected with a cord that only has a USB A end for the computer. That way, I keep a connection even if there is a WiFi issue. When I need to connect a device for updating, I already have the adapter hooked up and merely substitute the device’s cord for the printer’s cord.

Does what we need it to, small and reliable, It's an adapter, enough said.
