Fast Answer: Works great / Fast speeds / No problems Stupidly I wired my entire house with new Cat6 lines and got to connecting the Mac up to the adapter I had bought for Ethernet to Lightning and slapped myself in the face. I had bought an ethernet to USB. So I quickly called up my local BestBuy and got this to finish the project. Great speed and high build quality. No complaints.

Works great with my ipad and phone and laptop. Was easy to use but keep in a safe place.

Hate that I had to buy this because a cheaper one wasn’t available but this is my second and overall they’re great quality, and reliable.

After 12 1/2 years with a MacBook Pro computer that was truly a MacTruck of a laptop, I had to buy a new laptop. My new computer, a MacBook Air, has USB-C ports for peripheral devices. I purchased this adapter from Best Buy even before my computer arrived. It works perfectly with my printer, scanner, external hard drive, etc. to pair these devices to my new mini MacTruck laptop!

The adapter works well to adapt the different types of cable ends, so you can still use your old cables with this adapter, and you don't have to spend more money buying a full-sized cable to meet your needs.

I have actually purchased (2) now. Have one in my travel bag and (1) that stays at the office.

This adapter is a necessity for when you buy the new MacBook Pro (2013 model). You can't charge your phone to your computer without it and even though it's a hassle to carry a bunch of cables around, it's better to have then to not have. Along with that the USB-c to USB adapter makes it so you can plug in your phone to your laptop to pass pics, videos, etc. I would recommend that if you get the new MacBook to go ahead and also get the adapter.

I purchased this with my new MacBook because it uses the USB-C ports, in order to plug in my thumbdrives and other accessories. However, I discovered that the Samsung Tablet A I had bought a couple months before also used a USB-C port (I had thought it was just a new kind of Android plug). This meant I can use this adapter to plug thumb drives directly into my tablet to transfer files- very handy!

This adapter is perfectly functioning, well-made, and beautifully designed. Ideal tool for the purpose.

Great dongle adapter for the macbook pro. Easy use

Purchased this to use with my wife's new iPad Pro to connect to our Yamaha CSP-170 instead of the more expensive media apdater from Apple. Turns out I didn't even need this - all I really needed was an ordinary USB B to C cable. However, this should allow her to connect her camera to the new iPad Pro if she desires (she also has an iPad mini.)

I was skeptical about purchasing open box items, but it’s in excellent condition, no play in the jack when plugged in, and works great!
