Works great- bought for new IMac. I must say though, when they ask you to buy an extended warranty be careful- some of what they "push" are recurring fees/memberships and really not warranties.

Very needed, last long and is very useful for anyone with a Apple laptop.

I have a powered USB hub supporting seven external hard drives that interface via USB-A. I purchased this adapter to allow the hub to attach to my new Xenix 15 Thunderbolt (USB-C) port. I suspect surely the performance would be better if my hub were engineered for USB-C at the outset, but this adapter arrangement is working very well.

Simple device allows you to interface a standars USB plug in to a USB-C. Most remote keyboards & mouse still use standard USB port/ plug in. Allows you to connect to Mac laptop port (only USB-C)

This adapter is a lifesaver to use with my 13 inch 2020 MacBook Air. Since these laptops no longer have a USB connection, it does have an available usb-C - so I can still use my items that require a USB! Thanks Apple & Best Buy for making these readily available. Plus my online ordering experience and curbside pickup was so easy!

I know there’s probably cheaper knock offs that will do the same thing. But when it comes to dongles I only ever buy Apple products. It gives me the peace of mind knowing they will last a very long time. Sometimes going the cheaper route might seem like a good idea at first because you’re saving a quick buck but in the long run Apple products tend to last and outlast the knock offs.

Bought a newer macbook and noticed that the newer ones don’t carry a usb option no more, basically it’s just adapters now. I was so used to the older macbooks with usb, hdmi, etc, but I went to bestbuy and bought this adapter, yeah it’s wierd, at least for me to use it every time I want to plug in a usb device, but it does it’s job. It works great so far, flawlessly... and when you think about it you wont be using this adapter like every day, unless you run a business or something like that. I basically use it for iPhone multimedia, external hard drive backups. this 2017 macbook i bought I believe is super fast compared to my 2011 I had. The transfer rate on this usb 3 man it’s amazing. Good thing this adapter is usb 3 supported, around 16 GB of files transfer in less than a minute. I remembered when I used to take 10 min or more. I recommend it without a doubt. I stick with Apple products for my macbook, I know it wont fail, Apple makes quality products.

It does the job. I own a few of these, as my Mac only has USB-C ports. It works with all sorts of devices, external hard drives, thumb drives, iPhone, etc. Whatever the (USB 2/3) device you connect to the computer is supposed to do, this adaptor helps it do it.
