My only complaint is that one should have been included with the laptop as this item isn't just a want with the new MacBook. It's a need. It's basically how you make you macbook talk to usb devices. Without it or after market accessories like it connecting to external devices would not be possible.

Simple USB-C to USB dongle to use with iPadPro when you need to connect a USB device. A little pricy.

We were looking for a way to connect USB items to our new Macbook that only has USB-c. This did the trick.

Looks solid and should last a few years. I just wish that the MacBook Pro would come with a USB port.

A bit pricey because it carries the Apple brand name, but this is the way to convert from USB-A to USB-C. It’s a high-quality item in terms of performance. I do wish Apple used stronger thread around its wires, but ... still, this was a good purchase.

Well it’s a dongle cord that’s kinda cool came in a little box so that was neat. I guess it’s one of those things that apple should have included

Works great for USB to USB-C connections, way easier and more reliable than the multi connection docs for the USB- C inputs on the new macs, I have one of those too and it always seems to lose its connection, this one stays connected even if your moving your laptop around.

I had to purchase USB-C-to-USB Adapter because my USB did not fit in my new computer and I needed some of my papers and spread sheet off of my old computer I transferred all my files to the USB and with adapter I have all my files instead of paying to transfer my files.

Very handy for people who have stored a lot of data on flash drives, that still needs to be accessed..

this is required to connect usb to my laptop would be nice to have smaller adaptor that can leave plugged into laptop

I like it but if u have more then one USB I suggest to get the multiple adapter ... I mean it dose its work

I didn’t know I needed one of these but it helped me use my printer

A necessary evil, but it works. At least the USB-C connection looks like it will be around for a while.

I bought this when purchasing my new MacBook due to its lack of ports of any kind. It does what it says it can and works quickly.

I needed this adapter to use my XQD card reader on my MacBook Air. My card reader came with a USB plug in and my MacBook doesn’t have one. This worked perfectly!

Needed to attach devices to laptop, a must have thanks Apple for adding to my "cord collection"! You can't really do without when purchasing a new device as the old USB does fit!

Great works with all Apple products like a charm never had any issues out of it.

Works great as expected. No issues, the only downside is that other manufactures have multiport options.
