I didn't know new MacBooks didn't have USB ports. But now I know I need this dongle. It works that's all I can say.

My laptop needs it and I’m so glad I finally bought it. Its good to charge your phone with your computer too.

There isn't a whole lot to say about this adapter. It does what it needs to and it does it well. My only complaint is the price. $10 for an adapter is a bit crazy in my mind, but if you're buying a new MacBook Pro with USB-C, then $10 for an adapter won't set you back too much.

It’s perfect if you find yourself using a lot of usb devices on your MacBook which only has usbC ports. This adapter is not necessary for every day use since most of tasks and devices today connect to eachother wirelessly, specially in apple’s ecosystem

It was necessary to be able to transfer data from portable hard drive to my new Mac.

It does what it's meant to do. I just wish the cord wasn't so long. I really don't think it even needs a cord.

A good adapter that does it job. It works well with Iphone and Macbook

I hate that I needed an adapter after buying a brand new MacBook but I did and this worked like a charm. It allowed me to plug in thumb drives, a CD burner and a scanner. I just wish Apple had included both USB A and C ports.

Wish I didn't really have to buy this, but yup. Need it to connect an iPhone to a USB port...it works

I come from Windows and this is my first purchase of an Apple product (Macbook Pro). The external devices I used on my windows are all standard USB ports and this connector allows me to selectively choose which of my existing devices I can use. Frankly the length of the cable could be improved but otherwise performs as expected.

I mean in the near future hope it will all come to C, but as of right now no other choice than buying the adapter.

This item is necessary if you buy the new macbook that only comes with one port will only work with the included charger. This adapter will plug into the same port to allow for a usb device to be connected to the laptop. Although Apple could have included the cable with the laptop purchase.

Good products easy and the cab is very flexible It’s better to spend couple dollars in original cable

Definitely a must if you use any USB devices since there is none built into the laptop surprisingly? Special thanks to the sales associate who helped us for making sure we picked this up with our purchase.

Allow you to convert those products with old style USB to function with the new MacBookPro.

It's great to connect my USB key to my Mac, but I hate the fact that it's kind of hard to connect a USB with the port on this cord. It almost felt like it won't fit and I was scared I was going to break my key. But once it's connected, it won't get loose. Maybe the android one, which is half the price of this one will be better and I won't feel like I'm breaking something.

It's an adapter. It's a plug and go. I just wish I don't misplace it every time I use it.

this is just fine to use with the C type usb and I recommend it and a cheaper alternative to a hub
