I love this adapter!! I works awesome. I needed a USB on my new laptop and this works great!

I was able to use to connect my laptop to my backup drive.

I had multiple cheap generic brand ones off amazon that all broke very quickly when having to disconnect often or use different USB devices. This seems to be great and the connection on both ends is very tight so nothing ever comes loose. My only complaint that lowers the star is that if using a usb mouse receiver it can be extremely difficult to pull it out as the fit is so tight.

Apple quality is all i have to say. I wish it was a little cheaper

I have a MacBook Air and upgraded to a MacBook Pro. However, the Pro does not have the same ports that the Air has. Therefore this is a necessary attachment for the MaBook Pro in order to perform the same tasks comparable to the Air.

this is a gem!! It has saved me when transferring photos from my phone to my laptop! and it can be used for so many other devices as well!

My new M1 iMac has only two ports so this was my first Apple accessory; I use it to transfer (very fast) edited photos from LR to a USB3 thumb drive and other USB accessories.

It is quite pricey compared to some third-party hubs that offer you not only usb-a, but at the same time, sd-card slot, hdmi, and some even power throughput. But considering just this product, it is simple and elegant.

Couldn’t believe the MacBook Air doesn’t come with a USB port. Luckily found this to connect my old wired printer that’s still going strong and works better and has lasted longer than the newer wireless printers I’ve had.

For the new products with new connectors this works well with older item that still have traditional USB

Absolutely necessary piece of equipment. There are no USB ports on the MacBook Pro I purchased the touch-bar Mac and it has 4 ports (forgot the name of the new port). This adapter has USB port on one end and new port on the other. Yes, I like it.

Obviously Apple brand ensures functionality but it’s pricey for what it is.

This is a very good adapter, but like many Apple products, they are over priced.

I was worried when I bought my Macbook that I would no longer have the USB port but this was a life saver, because I hadn't even realized the port was missing until after I purchased the computer. Luckily I was able to keep my Mac because of this little gadget.

This dongle is a necessary evil until all connections move to the USB-C.

I was surprised that the new CD/DVD enteral didn't have enough power when connected through the adapter on my new MacBook Pro. However, this little guy did the trick. Not a lick of trouble since. Thank you Best Buy team for solving the issue quickly.
