    The Apple USB-C-to-USB Adapter allows me to connect many of my USB accessories to my MacBook with a USB-C port. I just plug the USB-C end of the adapter into the USB-C port on my MacBook, and then connect my flash drive, camera or other standard USB devices.

    I wish that Apple didn't do away with the regular USB port, but this tool is a lifesaver to help keep me connected with all my old files. Do yourself a favor and buy 2, because if you're like me you're likely to misplace it sometimes ;-)

    This product does what it is intended for and is my preference to most alternatives. Unless required a 3+ USB adaptive solution for which its best to use USB hub, this is the product I would 100%.

    The adaptor is great to have for older USB devices, but there is one missing feature - you cannot use the adaptor and charge the laptop at the same time, which to me is a poor design. Go for the more expensive adaptor that has both capabilities. I just wish that Apple would have put another USB-C alongside the other port so you could do both with this cheaper adaptor.

    If you want reliable usb connection buy the Apple brand. I had another certified brand and the cable kept disconnecting or it wouldn’t read my usb. But when I bought the Apple brand I had no issues. Worth the money.

    Bought this to do some file transfers after buying my macbook pro a few years ago. Really happy with how this little wire works to transfer all my data around universally.
