Got a new MacBook and the trend is for everything to be streamlined. So the laptop only has USB-C ports...ugh. Need this adapter to hook up any peripheral...ugh. Anyway, decided to get the Apple product, since we have had some issues before with non-Apple products. It works as it should.

So it would seem we are moving away from USB 2.0/3.0 to USB type C. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, I guess, but if this is the way we're going, these little guys are going to be necessary. It allows all your old USB 2.0/3.0 devices to plug into the faster/stronger/harder/better/whatever USB-C plugs. Some macbooks only have type c now.

Exactly what I needed for my Macbook Pro! Wish I didnt need to purchase extra items for a laptop, but it is what it is!

I take many photos with my digital camera and found this USB-C adapter to be a great and easy way to upload my shots to my IPad Pro. Simply place your digital card in th designated slot and plug it into the USB-C port and instantly the photos are uploaded.

Just purchased a new 24" iMac. I have several peripherals that still use the older USB connectors, including the disc I'd been using for Time Machine on the old iMac. Ordered this with the new computer. Works fine. Just get one if you need it.

Nothing special. Does its job. I dont support apple at all, in fact i just returned their macbook m2 pro, but i will still be using this for my new desktop. Or at least trying anyway.

I am not sure what I am supposed to review here. You plug the thing in and it works. I find it a bit ridiculous that I even need this, but I have no choice. It is another thing I have to remember if I take my computer anywhere because not everyone has fully adopted the cloud yet. If you need to use USB for anything, you need it.

Since the recent MacBook Pro models don’t have a regular USB port, this adapter does what I need it for; connecting my external hard drive, drawing tablet, and other devices that connect through USB.

I was looking for a simpler USC-C to USB adapter to supplement a more extensive adapter I have for everyday use. This one works perfectly, and BestBuy provided a competitive price on the product with no issues.

I had insignia brand before and it was made in China and is useless and now I have an Apple product which is fantastic. I am happy and I like it.

Having purchased this adapter for our new MacBook, we were pleased that it worked immediately and with no setup involved. The price is a bit much, but we have discovered with Apple products, it is best to use Apple accessories. We have had some bad experiences in the past with our iPhones and non-Apple chargers. This purchase worked precisely as described and desired.

Really I think there should be at least one of these in the box with the new Macbook. Since there isn't and you're likely to have older USB products you still want to use you'll need one of these. Nice design and works well but really should be free with the Macbook IMHO.

Perfect for my needs and works both directions. Stays in my computer bag and has come in handy more times than you’d think. A+
