I used this a lot for my Macbook that way I can charge and connect other devices at the same time. Fast delivery too

This adaptor is essential to have if you have older items to use with your new laptops or items with USB-C and not the older or normal USB sockets. With this attachment, I can connect my printers, external DVD Drives and flash drives etc. Its essential I would say. Thank you.

We had to buy an adapter to connect our external drive to our new laptop. There are so many different models and makers but, nothing like buying Apple products to fit right. Best Buys pick up option was awesome even during Covid-19 restrictions as they brought it right to the car.

Subsequent to this I got some cableless adapters but their problem is that they place more strain on the USB C plug in the computer: using this adapter allows a more natural unstrained plug in. It may be a bit more cost wise but if you have Apple you know you have quality!

A must have accessory. As many items as I use that require a standard usb port this was a must. Easy to use just plug in and use

Some may see this dongle as a bit pricey but the quality is second to none. Both sides of the adapter create a snug fit. While this requires a tad bit more effort to disconnect I find it valuable knowing I will not get a loose connection during use. I am very satisfied and prefer it over the cheaper options I have tried in the past.

Wish I didn't have to buy an adapter for Apple products nowadays, but this has worked pretty well. NOTE: I had to actually jam the USB into this cable to have it fit correctly. At first, I thought it wasn't compatible with either my USB iPhone cable or Nikon camera cable, but it turns out you have to use a unexpected amount of force to it to be inserted. But otherwise, its been working well for several months to transfer pictures from my camera and phone etc.

Works, does the trick! Seems we always need adapters any time we upgrade our electronics! Best to get a good one as cheap ones can faail.

I gave a 5 star rating because the adaptor works as it is suppose to and the quality is good. It is just unfortunate that Apple opted not to include a usb connection on their MB Pro laptops. So, when I replaced my MB Air with the Pro, I had no choice but buy the adaptor in order to use my portable printer.

I was concerned about no standard size USB ports at first. Was able to get over this pretty quick. Printing- wirelessly Transferring files- AirDrop, some sort of cloud Display to a TV- AirPlay This is the Mac I'd recommend to anyone that doesn't need to use Final Cut Pro or any app CPU intensive apps (Lightroom, Photoshop, premiere, etc)

So if u buy a camera you will need this to transfer video to your computer I highly recommend works great

Compared to alternatives, this is absurdly expensive. You are really paying for the brand here. Ultimately, I ended up picking up a dock as well because this is just not that useful considering how many USB items i have to connect frequently. Good for very basic users, I reckon.

I would recommend this adapter instead of an off brand since it is a Mac product. Works really well, easy to put in and take out

Purchased this to transfer pictures and video from my new Sony A6400 camera to my iPad Pro 11. This works great. I did learn that camera’s USB connection has to be in MTP mode to transfer videos. This is slower the USB Mass Storage mode, I think this is a Sony file structure thing. Adapter works great.

Bought it for my daughter after finding out the new M1 chip MacBook Pro doesn’t have anything but usb c connections … d’oh! Works as it should. No drivers, software, settings … just plug it in, plug in a thumb drive or external drive … boom. Done.
