This is Apple's standard USB A to USB-C adapter for the new MacBook Retina laptop computers. As most people know there is only one port on this computer and it facilitates everything...all peripherals and input devices (if you need them) I don't...but I like being able to plug in a Disc Drive if need be. This adapter worked beautifully.

Easy to use, does what it’s suppose to do. Recommend.

This product works well and I use it to connect an Apple CD drive to my MacBook Pro with M1 chip. I would rather have the pricier Apple adapter than a cheap generic brand.

Sucks the macbook air doesnt have a usb port, however they are able to get more money out of me by making me buy this Works as it is supposed to.

I purchased to allow me to connect my garmin watch to the MacBook in order to run updates. Cheap but useful accessory even if you only use it a few times.

this was a perfect match along with buying my daughter her apple laptop so she ablle to charge her phone as well using other usb items, as a nursing student she is always on the go go go she loves it and she doesnt have to look fo a plug in to the wall to charge fast items....

It does exactly what I need it to do. Get yours. Always happy when I can easily get what I need at Best Buy and skip the nightmare that is the Fruit Store at a mall.

I needed this to install my backup from an external hard drive used on my old MacBook Pro. Worked great. I haven't had to use it since, but it's nice to have in case I want to charge my iPhone with my new MacBook Pro or something else that needs the lightening connection. The price was great too btw.

This UCB to UCB-C adapter is a necessity for anyone wanting to use the new 2017 MacBook Pro with its Thunderbolt 3 ports and connect to older ports and connectors. I have not yet transferred all the iPhotos and iTunes from our previous MacBook Pro. We bought this along with the Insignia 6' USB 2.0 Transfer Cable.

I have a lot of USB-A connected devices that are still quite useful to me, so having this adapter was required. It's an Apple product, and I've found using Apple on Apple has always just worked, no questions, first time, every time. This has been no exception.

Bought a Apple Macbook and it has no regular USB ports, instead of just buying new USB's I purchased this adapter and it is perfect, fits in the case with the laptop, easy to store and quick to use my externals for work/school.

Bought Mac Mini and needed a USB port since the port that was available was a USB-C. Bought this adapter to convert from USB-C to USB. Works great!

I drive for a rental car company. Some newer models use USB-C to connect to Apple Car Play. This little guy helps me get where I need to go!

This is a must for connection apple devices to the new Mac24 ie the iPhone 11 connect to the adapter which then connects to the Mac24. Apple should have provided this with the purchase of the Mac24!

This has been incredibly handy for connecting to all my older USB devices. The cord is nice and and thick, and not too long. The only thing I've noticed is it's very "stiff" when inserting the USB and removing it. Definitely takes a fair amount of oomf, but hasn't been an issue at all as far as performance goes.
