Can be used with any devices mobile, hard disks etc. Hassle-free connection. All is well...!! A little expensive though...!!

This item helped a lot especially to be able to connect my gears to my laptop that only accepts USB-C connections.

As with many Apple products and updates, this adapter works fine for connecting your other products that have USB connections. It's just a shame that we are in constant need of adapters. Consider getting the hub as well for $50ish more. Other connections are included with it.

A must have when connecting the older USB-A accessories to a newer computer with USB-C ports unless one uses a dock or hub. A definite requirement when using Apple's Super CD/DVD drive which must be connected directly to the computer.

When I bought my new MacBook Pro I realized that it didn't have any USB ports, so I would have to buy this extension. Even though it's a pain that I had to buy this just to have the same functionality as before, I haven't had any problems with it so far and it works well.

Works as advertised. Just got a new iMac laptop and wanted to have the option of using my old USB -A mouse.

This purchase was a necessity for me since all my files were saved to a USB and my new Apple computer does not have a USB port on it. Great product is you are someone who wants to save files to a flash drive instead of the cloud or desktop.

Meets the need perfectly for going from my older mac to the new mac. Also needed it to hook up my external speaker system.

You are going to need this little adapter. With everything turning to USB-C and all your hardware is USB. This adapter helps with all that kind of transition. My SuperDrive will not work without it.

Works like a champ. Was real happy that I could attach an SD card converter and view old photos.

Haven’t used it for what I bought it for (purchased a new iPad and am waiting for it to come in). However, I have checked to make sure it connects with no issues on a different device as it was an open box item, and it worked well.

Great dongle for my mac book pro. I didnt want to get a usb c flash drive as when im at school and something needs to be printed only usb a works. Thanks to this dongle im able to keep using usb a drives on my mac book

I don't use this product as much as I thought it would because I don't really plug any external items to my computer. But it's great to have just in case and it's affordable. The few times I have used it, it's been great.

While I wish Apple didn't make this adapter a required item to use USB (Not Best Buys fault). With that said, this device works as promised. Plug and play user as normal for all Apple devices. A required asset if you own one of the new Apple Macbook Pro's that use USB-C.

Works as intended. Bought tis at time I purchased my new Mac. Later I found smaller versions, but wanted at least one Apple made adapter cause you never know when buying third party adapters.
