I gave this a five-star rating since I bought three and they are easy to use. Having said that, I am not happy that my new MacBook Pro 15 inch requires the use of these adapters to begin with. But I have not had any connection problems with the adaptors themselves.

I got this open box but it works perfectly !!! It makes easier to connect your phone to the Mac phone when the Bluetooth acts funky . Just sucks with apple so many little things are need to use their stuff .

Works seamlessly however hate paying so much for something that comes standard on other computers.

Wish I did not need to have this, but because Apple feels the need to try and remove cords or try and resell you a new technology all of the time... I bought two of these. They work fine and are not super expensive. Buy this over the knockoffs on Amazon for sure!

The adapter connects correctly between my MacBook Air and DVD writer, though I haven't fired it up. Quite certain all will be fine. After all, the adapter is inert (for want of a better word.)

Wife didn’t want to share her cord so I had to purchase one for myself and it works great with my MacBook Air and my hard drive.

I picked up a few of these for use with my USB-C computers. They're a little more reliable than the other ones I've tried, although it took some force to get my thumb drive into the USB-A port on this one! $9 until the end of 2016, so buy them if you'll want them later...

So easy to use ..you can connect with literally anything

This Apple USB C to USB adapter is a must have if you purchase a new Apple computer. It enables you to use your flash drives and anything else that needs a USB connection. Life would be so much more difficult without this item.

I wish Apple had these ports built in, but since they don't, this little adapter works just great. It is a bit awkward having to look for this when I need to use it. But all in all, it gets the job done.

Purchased this for the MBP 13 with USB-C ports only laptop. So many of the current accessories are still in USB 2.0 and 3.0 plugins. This little dongle will do for the time being before I transition all my storage devices to USB-C. If you are like me, this is a must have!

I purchased this when I bought my Mac due to the fact that it didn't have USB port. I do wish it came with the MacBook, however I did not mind spending the extra money! It great for charging your phone in your Mac or having to save stuff to a USB.

Works as it should. Unlike some other Apple products, this one has a very stout cable that should last many years.

I mean what else is there to say really? If you have a device prior to this year, and you purchased the current MacBook, then you'll need this cable. Not only do I HIGHLY recommend, I command you to pick this up!
