A necessity to connect my devices with my computer. Bought this one as an extra.

Quality adapter that helped me set up my new computer. They are working fine, and they were a good value for the price paid.

The need for dongles to use older external devices with newer devices, like MacBook Pros, is large. This is my second, and I am not disappointed. Works for iPad as well with the new file system. Two birds with one stone!

This is easy to use for something of the things i have to use with my mac book. There are a lot of options but this one by far is straight to the point for me to use the an external drive.

Didn’t miss the old ports on the new MacBook Pro except regular USB for the occasional hard drive backup or thumb drive. There are slightly cheaper adapters from 3rd party out there, but decided to stick with genuine Apple part for a little peace of mind.

What can you say really USB-C is the future and until peripherals have the USB-C built in, you will need one of these. Works well! I transferred over 2.5tb of data at once between external portable hard drives without a single issue. And for $9 can't beat the price!

Bought this adapter with my MacBook. Charges my phone way faster with USB-C to lighting by using the adapter than using the regular USB to lighting

Since the current model MacBook Pro only has thunderbolt connection slots, this adapter is necessary in order to connect an Apple DVD/CD read/write drive. Without it, you cannot transfer data.

Love the fact that it's so portable and convenient to use but I am a little frustrated with all the additional purchases I have to make to ensure that my MacBook is compatible with all my other items. But that has nothing to do with the adapter.

The architecture of my MacBook Pro (2017) requires this USB adapter to run USB devices -- I stayed with Apple to avoid any problems (yes, I've experienced less than "good" service from third party cables!). Simple product here, but it works perfectly!!
