I needed this to transfer data from my old backup drive with an USB. No loss of speed and this cable also allows me to connect other USB existing devices instead of upgrading the devices or their cables.

Works great. I just wish it was included with the new MacBooks. Priced comparably to those seen at other places/on other websites and there is no concern about whether or not it will work with your Apple computer.

Get the Apple cord for Apple products and it will do what you want it to do. Great service from the Best Buy staff in helping me find the proper adapter.

I didn't realize until I got home that my new computer didn't have the USB port that was on my older MacBook so I bought this one to be able to use my external hard drive. Nice that they have this to use!

Easy to plug in. Glad the sales person reminded me to purchase it when I purchased my laptop to be able to attach my garmin in order to keep it updated.

A must have for Mac if you have external hard drive, iPad or iPhone that you need to connect to inorder to save pics, music, or transfer between Mac and other pieces of equipment.

Using a Macbook Pro, this is the best you can get. Excellent connect-ability. If I ever need an other adapter this is the one I'll get, again!

It is a must have cable if you have only USB-C connectors on your laptop. No sit is yet set up with USB-C to USB-C. I went to the apple store and bought two more for maybe twice the price.

This adapter does what it is supposed to do. Found it to work best with my mac than others.

The newest models of MacBooks and MacBook Pros do not have USB ports. This adapter is a must for those who like to connect their phones, cameras, etc to their MacBook. I have not had any issues with this adapter.

Now it is possible to transfer data to the iPad using this adapter. Great addition allowing pictures, videos and other data to be moved to and from your iPad.

needed this because my usb external drive kept disconnected from my MacBook Pro when connected through a usb-c to USB hub. When connected directly using this adapter, it no longer kept disconnecting.

Apple to Apple products do work this best. I spent a little more for the real thing after being disappointed by 3rd party products for USB C to USB A for my MacBook. This worked as advertised flawlessly

The adapter is necessary to use your flash drive with the new MacBook. The adapter will allow you to use your photo flash drive on the new MacBook. Moving forward the flash drive will have a smaller connection.

The Apple USB C to USB Adapter is excellent and works much better than another adapter previously purchased. Very easy to install and use. Definitely would recommend this product.
