The 2016 and newer macbooks have the new USB port which makes charging any peripheral devices impossible without the adaptor - (fitbit, camera, external hard drives, etc). Easy to use - no issues and I use it often

Works perfectly. If planning to use anything that takes a UBS for your MacBook you’ll need to buy at least one of these. Suggest buying at least 2...you’ll be surprised how much you’d actually use it.

It's an adapter to connect USB devices to my mac, and that's exactly what it does! I can connect my iphone now to my mac to back it up and it does exactly what I need it to.

These adaptors are great and they seem to last forever. When I least expect it, I end up needing it. Great to have, even as a spare.

This plug in device works perfectly with the new MacBooks. You can effortlessly install it with one hand by sliding your fingers along the back of the plug while the female USB-c encapsulates the male USB-c.

The new MacBook is fabulous and another example of Apple's super-forward thinking. Many will complain that another USB-C port should have been on the MacBook but honestly I've never run into a problem with the single port. Why some people think that every computer design must have *all* the bells & whistles along with *all* the old legacy technology is beyond me. There are *always* compromises. I highly recommend purchasing this adapter should you get a MacBook air, or perhaps if you have purchased the new Pixel Chromebook (which has 2 USB-C ports) and need to connect a USB 2/3 device. Works perfect and is very sturdy!

This adapter was needed for USB flash drive. I wish the laptop had a USB port. Price wasn't too high. Overall a good adapter. It does the job!

Great accessory for my new MacBook Pro. Allows me to use the old accessories that use a USB port.

I had to buy it to be able to use my USB devices. The adapter works as advertised and I don't mint the way it sticks off the side of my laptop when I connect devices to it.

Needed this for my usb from camera to iPad. the converter worked no issues.

Basic cable that lives in the case of my MacBook. Along with a lightning and micro USB cord. Nothing special about the cable itself but I would recommend this over many 3rd party adapters given its build quality.

With technology changing DAILY it was great to find a product that would still work with my “out dated” peripherals.
