Necessary for newer Mac Book Pro

Must have if you have legacy USB devices

More expensive as an OEM product than one from a generic manufacture. This is necessary if you have legacy USB devices as most new Mac Books are now only coming with USB-C ports. As with all things Apple, you pay a premium.

Does what it's supposed to do
