||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.USB-C to USB adapters are required if you need to connect any USB devices to a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. I recommend 1 for each device because plugging and disconnecting a device from the USB connection side on the adapter is not smooth (the USB-C connection side easily plugs into the laptop). The connection on the USB side fits snug and needs some force to plug and unplug. If you’re cost conscious, buy 1 or 2 and see if you can deal with plugging and unplugging your devices. Overall, these adapters are mandatory if you need to connect your USB devices to a USB-C connection on your computer/laptop.

Technically you have to buy this to use things such as a flash drive with this computer, so it is a bit of a hassle and wish it came included with the computer, but it still works great!

Even though it's expensive just because it's apple, it's a nice product. I prefer to have like 3 of these just to have them already plugged in to my usb products so it's easier and I don't have to run around looking for them.

I recently purchased a M1 MacBook Pro and it only has 2 USB C ports. I still have a need from time to time to play DVDs. I purchased the Apple DVD drive it uses a USB Port so I when I tried using a cheap brand adapter it did not work. Used this rated product and worked like a charm. I’m sure I will need to use it with other devices and no doubt it will meet and or exceed expectations.
