    Overall this is a nice adapter for the new Macbook Air, which I why I bought it. Technically you have to buy this to use things such as a flash drive with this computer, so it is a bit of a hassle and wish it came included with the computer, but it still works great!

    It nice not having to come up with extra money and spend extra time signing up for a protection plan with each item I purchase. It is already done for me with the Best Buy Protection Plan. Thumbs up Best Buy. Great Protection Plan.

    Needed this item to use my external hard drive with the 2017 MacBook Pro. Works as expected. Plugged in external to the adapter, adapter to MacBook Pro and all set.

    You need this for the new Macbooks. There is no comparable alternative. I wish they were included with the Macbook itself, but they knew we would buy this anyway.
