    I have a lot of USB items, DVD Rom, Thumb Drives, Hard Drives, SSD's, etc and this allows those devices to connect to my new Macbook Pro. It can get a little warm.

    Previously I had purchased j5create multi adapter for my laptop but when I attached a hard drive to it, there wasn't enough power to run it. I paid $149.99 plus tax for this item. My nephew who works at your store told me about this simple Apple-USB-C-to-Adapter for $19.99 which works great. If you want to plug in more than one thing, you have to buy additional ones which was no problem at that price. Since then I have purchased two more adapters. I am very satisfied with this product.
