Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a new MacBook Pro 15" and just wanted to plug my iPhone to it to back up the data. I then realized that with all my existing iPhone/iPad adapters and chargers, I still need another adapter since my MacBook Pro only has USB-C type ports and my other Apple devices work with the original USB-A type. This adapter does the trick. Originally, i thought I had bought the wrong one as the USB end of it was very snug and it felt like it would not go in. I did not want to force it and risk damaging it. Once I got confirmation that it was the correct adapter, it works fine, just needed a firm push

Just what I needed for sad card
