The fast charger is a must for Apple Watch users as it cuts the charging time in half, if not more. I can charge my watch fully in ~30-40 minutes whereas the stock charger takes 1-2 hours. Even bought one for my car for on the go charging.

The construction is what you would expect from an Apple cable. I have not experienced any issues with any material degradation (ripping or discoloration) but I do have good cable management using a velcro cable wrap when on the go. I would recommend this for anyone that needs a replacement changing cable.
