The price is high, but all apple products are. I have had some issues where I could not close out some of the apps running (Had to reset the watch in order to fix). Other than that no major issues with it as of yet.

I don’t see there is any big difference between this one and 6. I upgraded from Watch 3, now I love the always on display. The battery could be better, but I can use it for more than two days since I turn off when I got home.

I can say that it works well and I haven't had any issues so far. I primarily use it for fitness tracking and it has been helpful in keeping track of calories. If you don't need the extra features of the Series 6, this is a good way to go.

Concerned

I was given a new Apple Series 2 watch for my retirement in mid 2017 and it no longer works. The watch never had any issues, but I did not wear it for one week and when I tried to charge it, it only got hot and would never turn on again. I checked with Apple for options and found that since the watch won't turn on, the trade-in value is $0. I could send it in and have it fixed for $250, which approached the cost of the new upgraded watches. After considering other options for several weeks, I bit the bullet and decided to purchase another Apple Watch. This watch has a few more functions that I will use over the old watch, but I'm concerned it will fail after warranty or become obsolete like many of my other Apple items - iPad's etc.
