Great watch, but iOS 16 requirement is an issue

However, iOS 16 is required and despite numerous updates (at iOS 16.1 now) battery life on my iPhone continues to be horrendous with iOS 16 and is even worse since the update. I wish Apple would stop forcing iOS updates to use their Apple Watch products.

Great watch - short shelf life

The apple watch lasts 1 to 1.5 days. If I use the timer much, it lasts less time. I don't know that the price, plus the added unneeded apps, is a benefit, if I can't forget my charger at home.
