I have been using the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) for a few months now, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It’s the perfect combination of affordability, functionality, and style. Design: The watch looks sleek and fits comfortably on my wrist. The 40mm size is perfect for me, and I love the variety of bands Apple offers to customize the look. It feels durable and lightweight, making it easy to wear all day. Performance: It’s incredibly responsive, and the apps load quickly. I primarily use it for notifications, fitness tracking, and timers, and it handles all these tasks flawlessly. The display is bright and easy to read, even in direct sunlight. Fitness Features: The fitness tracking is spot-on. I love the activity rings and how motivating they are. The heart rate monitoring and workout tracking are accurate, and it seamlessly syncs with my iPhone. I’ve started using the mindfulness features as well, which are a nice bonus. Battery Life: The battery life is excellent—I can easily go a full day and still have around 30% left before I charge it overnight. Price: Considering the features it offers, the SE is a fantastic value compared to the Series 8 or Ultra models. It has everything I need without the added cost of features like an always-on display or advanced health metrics. Overall, the Apple Watch SE is a fantastic smartwatch for anyone who wants the core Apple Watch experience without breaking the bank. As this is my first ever Apple Watch, I must say that I am impressed with it. I enjoy the features the most. I am the type of person who believes that if you’re going to make tech, then it better be something functional for everyday use. I also enjoy using some of the watch faces that the company preloaded onto it, where I can keep up with the weather, when sunrise and sunset is, and most importantly how the tide is looking. I love the Snoopy and Mickey Mouse watch faces and the customizable watch faces I can use like my family and the Incredible Hulk. When I’m at work the speech to text feature for messages is the best part to me, I won’t get in trouble by pulling out my phone. The watch is helpful, and useful and convenient so I don’t have a problem or any complaints about it. It does what I need it to do.

I had been contemplating getting myself an Apple Watch for some time, after having friends get them and rave about the functionality and ease of use. I finally decided to treat myself to one as an early birthday present! To be honest, I did not do much research on the difference between models and sizes, but the 40mm Starlight is very comfortable to wear and the functionality of it has greatly improved my life both personally and while working. My goal for 2025 was to be more active and off my phone more often, and I can thank the watch for helping those goals. I really enjoy being able to set timers, track my sleep, heart rate, quickly check email notifications, and connect my headphones to the watch rather than my phone. There’s something about seeing health data after taking a walk or working out that feels better and/or more impactful, along with not having to carry a phone around. I also work as a manager in the food service industry and often am wearing gloves, so it’s great to not constantly pull my phone out of my pocket to check important notifications, or even check the time without finding a clock. If you haven’t used an Apple Watch before, it certainly takes a little bit of time to get used to the functions and movements, but it’s not hard to learn. My only complaint is the battery life, it’s something that absolutely needs to be charged every night. Maybe that’s just from the way I use mine, though, as there are settings you can change to increase the lifespan such as screen brightness, and the time the screen will stay on before locking itself. I’m not someone who tends to wear jewelry like bracelets, and was worried I wouldn’t like wearing a watch but I barely even noticed it was on my wrist after a few days. Overall, my local Best Buy also offers great service and customer support even though I did purchase this online for store pick-up. I was in & out within 5 minutes. I would recommend considering making the purchase of an Apple Watch (and the 40mm Starlight is pretty dang cute & comfortable) if you are wanting to improve your fitness or functionality of life.

Bought this watch just because I needed a second brain to manage my reminders, I keep finding new cool features every day! I love this watch and it works very well, long lasting battery.

This watch was the best thing I’ve ever purchased for my health optimization and I’m really happy that I bought it from Best Buy! Now I exactly know what is going on with my physical health and what needs to be improved things to Apple Watch and data that watch generates for me! I even tracked my sleep scores. I don’t even need a whoop for that.

This Apple Watch SE with cellular data 40mm is a great size for someone who has small wrists, it was easy to install and easy to use. Very comfortable and convenient for when you don’t want to carry your phone. Sadly I did not use the band it comes with because I don’t like the silicon feel on my skin and it gets irritated!
