We purchased the Apple Watch for our 10-year-old daughter as a Christmas gift, and it has been a fantastic choice! I bought this watch for my 8yo granddaughter. She absolutely loves being able to stay in touch with family. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't order the watch locked to a carrier online, so I had to get the unlocked version. My son set it up, and I think it was a little more difficult than if it was initially locked to a carrier, but once it was set up, it worked very well. The band was too big for my granddaughter, but fortunately, I had anticipated that, and I was able to find kid-sized bands to fit the watch on Amazon for a reasonable price. I do see that Target now has the watch on sale for a much lower price, which is a little disappointing, but since I have Total Tech with Best Buy, I am getting the Apple Care for free, so it pretty much works out to a wash, and I like the convenience and low stress factor of being able to take an item to Best Buy should something go wrong. Aside from that, I was able to pick the watch up at the store the same day after ordering it online which allowed me to give it to my granddaughter in person when she was visiting, and witnessing her excitement and glee in receiving it was priceless.

It was a gift for my mom and her Birthday is today. The watch does so many things. I now want on for me. I like the smaller size since I have a tiny wrist.

this was suppose to be a Christmas present for my grand daughter...but she had finished Nursing School and was wanting a Apple Watch for work...So I gave her Christmas Present to her early...She was so HAPPY ...it was worth it all just to see her expression...one I will always remember!!! She just tells me all the time how much she loved it and how it helps her out at work... WHAT I DIDN'T TELL YOU IS THAT I PUT THE WATCH IN A BOX AND WRAPED IT ..AND TOLD HER IT WAS FOR ONE OF THE OTHER GRAND CHILDREN AND I DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY I LOOKED AND WOULD SHE UNWRAP IT ..AND DO IT AGAIN FOR ME ..SO IT WOULD LOOK PRETTY...WHEN SHE WENT TO REWRAP IT ..SHE STARTED SCREAMING AND CRYING SAYING "NO YOU DIDN'T ...GRANDMA !!! NO YOU DIDN'T!!! ..OVER AND OVER...IS THIS REALLY MINE!!!..AFTER SHE FINALLY CALMED DOWN FROM UNWRAPING THE WATCH...I EXPLAINED THAT I KNEW SHE NEEDED AN APPLE WATCH FOR WORK AND IT WAS TRULY HERS!!! AFTER MANY THANK YOU'S ...SHE SAID I CAN FINALLY DO A GREAT JOB AT WORK AND THIS IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED TO HELP WITH MY PATIENTS...

I am in love with this watch. I have worn an automatic watch for more than 5 years and switch to this to be able to have access to texts and calls without having to pull out my phone. It is one of the best decisions I have ever taken. I will continue wearing my automatic watch for special occasions only and my Apple Watch for everyday. Planning to get other wat h bands to interchange to.

I got this rather than a devise to wear around my neck to notify others of a fall. I’m 83, play pickleball often, live alone and know falls are a possibility. I have turned off all the activity and medical notifications as I don’t care to know all tha info. The watch has served me well for my purposes. I do like the notification that informs me of text messages s I don carry my phone all the time.

The SE 2024 retains the clean, minimalist design Apple Watches are known for, with an aluminum case and a vibrant Retina display. Although it lacks the Always-On Display seen in higher-end models, the screen is crisp, bright, and easy to read, even in sunlight.

Bought the gps and cellular for my 9yo daughter. I set it up with my phone as a family watch. She uses it for timers in class, with screen time and downtime settings I can lockdown during school hours so she can’t use random things. Great for calling/texting her for oickups, and tracking if I need. She loves messing around with the faces and has a nice stretchy band we got cheap from BB. This is the best alternative to getting the functionality needed without having to get kids a phone and all the social media baggage that comes with those. I was able to enable it with att for cell coverage really easily from the att app on my phone. Not bad to stay connected/call her for $10/mo.

Love my Apple Watch it’s best if you like doing a morning walk or runs

Our son got this as a Christmas present and loves it. Very easy to use for kids, and the parental control gives us piece of mind. Easy setup and he loves having the same features as I do on my series 10.

The watch does exactly what it needs to do and more, for the price I am pleasantly surprised and impressed by how it compares to my Apple Watch series 9! While I still believe the 9 is better, the SE is totally a budget friendly option that’s worth a look.
