I purchased the Apple series 1, 42mm watch as a gift for my husband. He was quite surprised for Christmas and immediately loved it! The watch has been a great motivator for his daily walks and has lived up to our expectations! We now both have an Apple Watch and enjoy the competition, definitely been a great purchase!!!

It is nice to have this watch if you are willing to spend the cash for the novelty of having it. The battery life makes you afraid to use it.

Great watch for every aspect of business and life,

After months of wondering whether the Apple Watch would add value to my life I decided to purchase and find out myself. I ended up returning it and this review is intended to help others find out whether it is something to spend the money on or not. Like any Apple product the build quality is strong! It was comfortable, water resistant enough to have in the shower or wash hands without worrying about it. The 2nd Generation was quick and fairly simple to set up and use. I enjoyed being able to quickly glance at text messages that would not have to be replied to. If a reply was needed I found myself still taking out my phone because it was faster, less weird than talking to your watch (which many times got the dictation wrong and you would have to take out your phone anyway), and did not have adequate quick reply. I also enjoyed the fitness aspect. Being able to watch your heart rate and being held accountable to maintain a good workout. I returned it because although the watch did these two things well I found it extremely distracting. Instead of helping you engage in the world around you, it was even more distracting. Having your phone vibrating in your pocket as well as the watch tapping you on the wrist was taking away from my face to face conversations. I also still found myself taking my phone out just as much for text message replies or to interact with notifications that showed up on the watch but required responses or more information. Overall I found that the Apple Watch had a couple of great aspects but did not add value enough to overcome the distraction that it was or the frustration that it caused.

There are many different reasons others may want this watch. The killer app for me has been the ability to look at my wrist to see who's calling my phone and either accept or send the call to voicemail. Given the increasing number of robocalls I get, this feature alone is worth the price. It also tells time!

Love it...the watch is light weight and convenient

this watch so is fun and does everything! Love it!

I was unsure that I would use my watch as much as I do but have used it daily since purchasing. Some very cool features such as navigation on your rist while driving/commuting, answering the phone and by that I mean speaking into it, control your camera phone, respond to texts, set reminders and much more. I got it on sale otherwise I might not had paid full price thus missing a cool piece of tech gear. As a side not I was an Android person until recently and had 3 Android watches. None were able to compare to the quality of this.
