For me at least. I'm not super into working out (I do weight lifting mainly and the watch is more useful for cardio lovers) so this is basically just an expensive, but nice looking, watch for me. It does come in handy with messages and other notifications but one could survive without it. That being said, I love it and am glad I got it as a gift

If you're looking for a great looking watch with every feature you can think of, this is it. No complaints. Whenever I forget to wear it, I catch myself looking at my wrist ( becomes second nature ).

The I watch series 1 in a great entry point product at a nice price point. Works flawless like apples products do. If on a budget and don’t have to have greatest on earth, it’s a good buy.

I like not having to retrieve my iPhone 6S every time someone texts me or calls me. Recently checked my flight status right from my wrist making it super convenient. I like the convenience of answering a phone call or seeing a text from my wrist while I'm busy working and cannot quickly retrieve my iPhone. Battery life lasts about a 1.5 days depending on my settings. Not the most sophisticated fitness tracker, but it does the basic metrics I want tracked. HR monitor is pretty accurate. The band is comfortable and very durable. I did purchase a bumper and screen protector as I often hit my watches on walls, furniture, etc. Overall, I am very pleased with it's performance, durability and capability.

Bought an Apple Watch Series 1 for my teenage son for his birthday. It is easy to use, has a long battery charge, and he loves it! This is the second member of our family to own an Apple Watch.

After reading reviews online I took the plunge and bought the Apple Watch. It's super light and you barely notice it's even on. It's a great way to track everything and keep everything at arms reach. I haven't worn my nice movado since. After checking at the Apple Store I decided to buy this version over fully waterproof version because those were sold out and these were discounted and can honestly say I have no regrets. I typically by the latest and newest of everything but the processor is the same and minor differences that I don't even notice. I buy all my electronics at Best Buy because I get the best price and they always take care of me. Buy this watch and you will never look back.

I was skeptical at first of giving into the apple watch but I got it at a very unbeatable price. Since I am into fitness I trusted more the FItbit than I ever did the Apple watch. So i saw no reason to buy the apple watch since i had the fitbit blaze which is pretty awesome, but i decided to buy the apple watch anyway and was surprised by the fitness tracking. It actually tracks calories closely matched to what the fitbit would do with the exception of the heart rates being slightly off. I've grown to trust the watch now even though the heart rate may not be up to par with fitbit it still gets half the job done with tracking calories during my workouts. Great watch for multi-purpose use.

I am in love with the Apple Watch. It's great for fitness. I track everything through this watch. I'm able to text and answer calls as well. It's great to have when you can't Find your phone.

It's like having your iPhone on your wrist all day long. You can text, call, get emails, track activity and much more!! This was the best purchase I have made in a long time!! Thanks Best Buy!!

I got an Apple Watch from a relative for Xmas and was so pleased, I told my wife it was too cool for her not to have one, too! So I got her this one for Valentine's / Anniversary and she loves it! So convenient for when you can't find your phone or dig it out, when you have kids, message dictation, workouts, Apple Pay, boarding passes, I could go on and on. Customization is almost limitless. It's still lacking in functionality in some areas, but overall it's a great tool/toy to have. Kinda pricey, which is why I would not have (did not) just buy it for myself, and only as a combined gift for my wife, but if you've got the money saved and have been interested, I say go for it!

It fits perfectly as if it was built specifically with your wrist design in mind. You barely feel as if you're wearing anything at all. All the functions work well and seamlessly with your iPhone. Never miss a text or call again because you left your phone on the other room or in your office drawer. Lots of great bands available for it too!

The Apple Watch is a great companion to your iPhone. I like that you can keep the phone in your pocket while doing essential things with your watch. It's fitness tracking abilities have encouraged me to be more active. It's a little slow and I would actually recommend Series 2 at the moment. But with the series 1 you can't go wrong.

I absolutely love this device and in spite of some insistant reviews about poor battery life, I have experienced quite the opposite. I have never had to be concerned about battery life whatsoever. I simply put it on the charger while I take a shower and get ready for the day and by the time I’m done, it’s fully charged to last as long as I ever would need it and oftentimes it’s still got 60-70% left. There’s nothing better than an Apple product and I looked at all of them. I didn’t need cellular capability for my device as I always have my phone with me, so there is no buyer remorse over not getting the latest device possible.

Bought this out of geeky curiosity. Aside from telling the time, it simplifies a lot of interactions that would otherwise require using the phone. Very handy. I'm looking forward to the future of the Apple Watch. Price for the base model Series 1 is agreeable, but sales would probably benefit if the entire product line was a bit cheaper.

I bought this watch with the Catalyst waterproof band thinking I would save money over the series 2. Should have stuck with my minimal taste. I returned both and got the series 2 watch. Nothing wrong with the series 1 I just wanted a waterproof smart watch without having to wear a bulky band. Both series 1 & 2 watches are awesome. They have a ton of useful features like text message, email, music control, directions and notifications for social media. They both also work as a fitness tracker with the series 2 having the slight edge in waterproofing and ability to track workouts in a pool or open water. Previously I have owned Jawbone Up band Fitbit HR and Fitbit blaze. The Apple Watch performs better imo on breaking down the key fitness goals to achieve on a daily basis. There is also a separate breathing coach to remind you to woo saa a few times a day. The comfort of the band I bought the sports version is excellent. There are a lot of customizable watch faces and you can even select the color scheme and information displayed on each face. Battery life is dependent I can get two days out of my watch but I always charge it overnight anyway.

Tracks everything I ever wanted accurately. Though it is an investment but worth it if this is what your looking for.

This is a great product and i would recommend to a friend. I have an ipad pro, iphone and now the apple watch and im loving it. The price was a lot bettre than the new one and the features are basically the same except the GPS and water resistance however with both you need your phone to be close so why not just use your phone GPS.

This watch is great if you are into fitness. It tracks steps, workouts and various other health related information.

mainly got this watch for the heart monitor to track my heart rate being I'm a heart patient keeps all my logs and I can send them straight to my doctor or print them out and take with me all the other extras are great tracks all my activity I was skeptical at first if it was accurate so I went to doctors and was hooked to a heart monitor the watch was spot on now if they can get the release for the o2 sensor that would be great love the watch and would recommend this product to every one wanting to keep an I on your health

Debated for a while between Series 1 and Series 3. Ultimately I decided that I always have my phone with me, so the need for standalone cellular was a non starter for me as well as the standalone GPS. they're great to have, but not a necessity for me. I work out always in the gym, so GPS not needed. I would recommend it for those that love to run outdoors though. I am very happy with this and it suits my needs. I get a lot more use out of it than I thought I would! I definitely recommend it if you are new to smartwatches and just want an entry model, but has most of the features of the high end model.
