I Finallly Got My Apple Watch and It Exceeded Everything I Tought It would Be.

I love the watch so far. It’s very technical and It got stuck I had to erase everything off and start over. But everything was backup so it didn’t take long to restore it.

Many are unfamiliar with the fact that the Series 1 Apple Watch was released simultaneously with the Series 2. This is NOT the first generation of Apple Watch and contains many of the same hardware upgrades as the Series 2. The only differences in features from the Series 2 model are the lack of 50-meter waterproofing (Series 1 is 5-meters), independent GPS capabilities, and a dimmer screen. If you do not plan to use your Apple Watch either while swimming, showering, or exercising without your phone, this model may be for you. Additionally, the Series 2 is thicker due to a larger battery which makes up for the increased demands of battery life of the Series 2, and a ceramic back versus acrylic which I have found no added benefits for. For these reasons I chose the Series 1 and have been happy with my purchase. Lastly, if you are wondering about the Series 3. I do not travel without my mobile phone. Therefore, I do not see the need for upgrading and bearing the additional costs with my carrier for the Series 3 with cellular. In conclusion, the Apple Watch Series 1 has held up well to wear and tear. Functionality has been maintained with updates from Apple. My recommendation for you as a buyer is to compare the differences in how you plan to use your watch and the addition of a screen protector with your purchase.
