She is a nurse and didn’t want to have her phone out at work. This solved the issue and she was able to have our daughter reach her as needed. Great design, can be worn out, to work or around the house.

Only downfall is would be having to charge it everyday. But that is only if you use the texting function and keep other apps running. Most of the time I keep it on airplain mode and the battery lasts a week or more.

Older tech, but a great watch for the price

If you can live with the older-style heart rate detection, a slightly smaller screen, and don't need haptic feedback on the crown or the advanced health features of the 5 or 6, the Series 3 is a great entry-level smart watch, especially if you already own an iPhone.

The series 3 is when the battery and processor got to a good/decent point compare to the Series 1/2. I got one for my wife and for my mom for around $160 - the both love it
