I bought the 38mm Series 3 for my wife's birthday. She is a techno junkie. I got the version without cellular, figuring that it is rare that should wouldn't have her phone with her too, and I didn't want to spend the $15/month for the service. As long as she is in a wifi area, she really doesn't ever need the cellular. She spent several hours playing with it and is still have a blast with it. It was easy to set up. She got 3 extra bands from Amazon since the band it comes with isn't really dressy.

As a SmartWatch, this is amazing. Being able to respond to text messages and manage e-mails from my wrist was awesome. However, what I really needed was a fitness watch. I was hunting for a new watch to help track my running and I chose the Apple Watch because it was on sale and cheaper than most Fitbits and Garmins. Compared to my old Fitbit, it could not keep up with my demands. I found that it would consistently get glitchy at about mile 9 of a long run. I finally gave up when the watch just stopped tracking my runs and I would have to restart the app in the middle of workouts. That's when I realized I was asking it to do too much. So, I gave the watch to my wife, who is currently loving it. This is a situation where the problem was mostly me and not the watch. Great device I love it so much still working doesn’t give me any problem

I looked at Apple Watches for a long time before purchasing one. This one has not let me down. I have taken it swimming many times and it still works great. I can't get very far away from my phone before it is out of range, but that's not a huge deal. I like being able to not have my phone right beside me all of the time. When I travel, I can keep my phone in a backpack instead of in a pocket. It works exactly like I expected it to, and I have not run into any problems.

Like other Apple products, easy to use and set up but beyond the convenience factor, overpriced.

Bought for my granddaughter she loves it and finds it very easy to use and very attractive and sporty at the same time.

This thing does it all, i can see and reply to texts, get notifications, see phone calls and use apps. It looks nice too!

So we switched from a Fitbit to an Apple Watch. I very much enjoyed my Fitbit for the fact that it was very easy to use. It has everything I needed heart rate, tracked my steps, and an amazing battery life. As I started to pay more attention to my activity levels I noticed some issues. I started running and paying attention to my pace but couldn’t see just my run in the app but couldn’t see my time or pace or calories isolated for that run. I had to use a separate app to track my runs to see this. Also since I have many friends with apple watches it was now easier to compete and see everyone else’s activity. My only gripe with my Apple Watch is having to charge it every night. All in all I really enjoy being able to see all the specifics of every one of my workouts instead of just seeing totals for the whole day. Plus I got mine while it was on sale so that was a bonus for me.

I use this watch the way people use garmin watches or fitbits. I am a very fitness and exercise savvy person. I was originially going to get a garmin but after learning more about the apple watch it was more convenient to get this instead. My workout apps are compatible with the watch I do not need my phone. The activity feature is AMAZING I love it. but the only downside is that your phone cant use the activity feature and when I forget to put my apple watch on my normal walking activity isn't logged.

Great upgrade from the Series 1 watch. Battery life is a little better, maybe an hour more. Fitness tracking is improved.

Love my watch. Took sometime to figure it out with YouTube videos. Once I did it’s been easypeasy. Use it all day long for receiving and sending texts and calls without touching my phone when I can’t be near it at work.

This watch was purchased to replace a Series 1 Apple Watch. Great upgrade with it being waterproof and longer battery time.

This model removes alot of the features of an apple watch. This one is only really good for the status that comes with a smart watch. The screen is small on this model and comes with a couple features like health and fitness. It is hard to navigate using this watch and the phone app likes to scare you when you open it with a brief flash of a phone call in progress long after you know you hung up which then disappears. It is also slow compared to the iPhone in processing speed meaning it will result in some waiting to do things. If you want the status and looks of owning an apple watch then this may be for you but if you want the features and everything else look for a more expensive model.
