You can get the series 3 at a good price and it works seamlessly with your iPhone. Better than any other fitness tracker in my opinion.

We purchased the Apple Watch Series 3 (42mm) for our son's birthday. The Series 4 watches had gone on sale and we didn't shop quickly enough before they were all gone at about $30 more than the Series 3. My son is very happy with the watch and all of the features.

My wife wanted a fitness tracker and asked to look at Apple Watch. I expected her to decide to return it just because she and I don't like to spend money on things we don't need or use. But she loves it! She found that it helps her track her workouts, steps, etc., which is exactly what she wanted. Plus, she gets the iPhone integration to managed calls and texts, as well.

I debated buying an Applewatch for about two years and finally decided to take the plunge and I don’t regret buying this piece of technology. I love how easy it interacts with other Apple products (unlocks my iMac automatically, connects to a WiFi network when my phone connects to one, even serves as a remote for an AppleTV. I am also pleased with the heart rate feature and amazed at how accurate it is! If I am working out, it automatically detects that I am working out and it starts to keep track of my physical activity and records it. One of the best features that I live is that I can go swimming with it and as long as my phone is connected to a WiFi network and my watch is in range of the WiFi, I can leave my phone in a locker or pool chair and I can still receive and send text messages. The only thing I wish this could do is to set target heart rate zones for working out and alert you as you enter a new zone (reason why I am not giving it 5 stars), but overall, another great product by Apple.
