VAST improvement over Apple Watch 1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was gifted an Apple Watch 1. It was buggy and unpredictable to the point that it was almost useless. However, I really liked the fitness app so, when the Watch 1 fell off a counter onto a tile floor, shattering the face, I upgraded to the Watch 3 (the Watch 4 had just been announced and the Watch 3 was on sale). The Watch 3 is such an improvement that it’s nearly a different product. First, it actually works. No more waiting for an app to load only to have it lock up. I can actually make and receive calls from the Watch 3, respond to texts, etc. Second, the Watch 3 is water resistant, so I don’t have to worry about it getting wet. Why the Watch 1 wasn’t water resistant when the technology was basically ubiquitous will remain a mystery to me. Another example of the Watch 1 not being ready for prime time. Third, it’s zippier and more responsive than Watch 1 (as you would expect). Overall, a VAST improvement.
