I purchased the original and it was nice. The series 2 added the GPS which I liked as a hiker but it sorely missed the altimeter. The series 3 is the full package as far as I am concerned. I did not get the mobile enabled because I would just assume not be disturbed when hiking. Now I can leave the pone in the car and get accurate GPS coordinates as well as altimeter readings. The water proof also is not of much interest to me but it is nice to know I don't have to worry about it when I get stuck in a rain shower. The notifications while at work are nice when paired with my phone. This may not be for everyone, but it works great for me. I use Apple products all the time and love having a fitness watch now that works with everything else. It also automatically unlocks my MacBook Pro automatically when I sit down at my desk.

I love Apple products and this watch is no different. I love the fitness tracking and the different faces you can use. I like to have a lot of things on my home screen so I have things right at my fingertips. Things like the weather and the battery life. I got this because I have a baby and needed to be able to answer my phone if I didn't have it in my hands. It has worked out great!

Got this watch for my wife, she has never really been into wearing watches, but she really loves her apple watch, the ability to see a text, call, or news updates without her phone ringing or vibrating during work or meetings.

This Apple Watch has been my best companion since it got released. Battery lasts a long time. It’s faster than my previous device with so many new features. I bought 2, one in black and a rose gold one for my wife. She loves her and blew both use it constantly on a daily basis and at the gym to track heartbeat, calories and general active time. We don’t have the real need to get the LTE version because we literally have the phone with us at all times. While driving all you gotta do it turn the wrist a little bit and you can see the text message with both hands on the wheel. No need to be pulling out the phone and be a real distraction. Also Siri works flawlessly on the watch so she can read my notification to be while I got my hands full. Battery is greatly improved.

This watch is a must-have for any Apple product lover out there! The battery life is great. I got the space gray one and though it does not match with many bands, it is my favorite and I feel looks the cleanest.

Bought this for my husband for work (UPS Driver) since he is always on the go and he loves it! Very convenient if you are always on the go and need a hands free device and the battery lasts him all day.

I had an original apple watch 38mm which I liked but had its down falls. With the upgrade to the series 3 42mm this thing is so fast compared to my last its night and day an WOW the battery life is not just better its dramatic. I'm a runner and a golfer and the GPS is clutch. I played a round of golf wore my watch all day and fell asleep with it on woke up and still had 50% battery. Normally my watch with no activities would be around 10% when I'd be ready for bed, and in the case I fell asleep with it on, it was dead 100% of the time when I woke up.

The Apple Watch 3 is the best smartwatch on the market. That's in terms of out-and-out functionality and raw power, the sheer amount of things you can do with it. There are the inherent drawbacks, with the cost and the fact that you're locked to the iOS ecosystem the biggest for some people. But these are precisely the things Apple has designed the Watch for, so it depends whether you're on board with that ethos. There's a lot to love on this watch, even if a lot of those things are the same things I enjoyed on previous devices. We're getting used to the square design after a couple of years (and it does allow more screen to be seen), with the curved sides melding nicely with the OLED screen. The display is clear and bright, and with WatchOS 4 Apple has really cracked smartwatch interaction. Well, perhaps that's overstating things a touch – the method of navigating apps is still a fumbly nightmare at times – but the use of the power button to jump between apps is a real boon. The fitness side of things has also been improved once again, with support for more workouts. The greatest strength of the Apple Watch is the fact it's getting better at nudging and prodding you to get a little bit more active during the day, learning your habits to let you know if you're going to fall behind your goals. It's more nuanced than ever at this, and one of the things we’re looking forward to checking out further is the nudges it gives you to get exercising more – once you’ve worn the Watch for a month or two it’ll nudge you to try and beat your monthly activity to help push you forward. Siri being able to speak out loud didn't really impress that much – there aren't a lot of times when you want to talk to your wrist and have it speak back to you, as you can either read the screen, or you're out in public. The Apple Watch 3 is best for the fitness enthusiast, that's for sure. The longer battery life, improved screen and GPS / water-resistant capabilities are all perfect for the person who needs a workout companion, where the original and cheaper Apple Watch lacks in all these areas. However, said fitness fan has to not want to do advanced things with their fitness stats, as the Apple Watch still has all its data locked down. You can use other apps – Swim.com and Strava, for instance – but these are basic at best and we constantly felt that someone who really took their workouts seriously would be frustrated with the lack of data freedom with the Apple Watch 3. So the new Apple Watch is for the person who's comfortable working out, and who likes to keep track of what they're doing but doesn't have aspirations to really push things further. However, for the intermediate fitness fan, the Apple Watch 3 does it all - heart rate, music playback (and streaming) and GPS tracking in one neat, attractive package. 

The battery life is vastly improved as is the intuitive displays. Listening to music? Controls automatically display on watch. Love that it is waterproof. Great buy and product.

Great for fitness tracking, quickly checking and responding to notifications, any more more things. I like that it’s waterproof so I don’t have to worry about it getting wet.

Great watch with tons of features to track my health and workouts. Great tool for multi-tasking. It’s awesome.

This is for my son, so far no complaints ... waterproof and has gps .. I hope the battery will last long so he will not charge it as often .

Great, color is a little on the darker shade. But it is fast and smooth. Battery life is good and touch sensitivity is accurate

The watch is definitely faster the my Apple watch 1 and the battery last almost 2 days. You cant beat the water proof as well

I bought this as a Christmas gift and they liked it.But yeah it's expensive as h**l. It's worth that price for the quality.

love having my watch while at work so i can check really fast to see if the call or text is important without stopping. i also like being able to have it while driving and my gps being right there

I couldn't decide on a Fitbit or an Apple watch. I decided on the watch as I wanted something that would notify me of text messages and phone calls as I don't always feel my phone vibrate in my pocket at work. I absolutely love this watch. It's very durable and I don't have a protective cover on it. My job requires lots of manual labor and this watch takes a beating sometimes. Has some surface scratches but nothing that makes it unusable. Very convenient to have notifications appear on my wrist. I feel the vibration when notifications appear which is extremely helpful. I have small wrists so I use the smaller band that is provided. The band works great. My old Fitbit band irritated my skin. Love all the different faces you can use too. I'm always changing them up. Highly recommend if your looking for something to have as a watch and a notification center.

Same design and software as previous series' but faster and more waterproof. Personally, I can't live without mine!

Great watch with decent battery life. Easy to use as well, cant go wrong.
