I've had a smart watch before, and quite frankly, it wasn't all that smart. Constantly annoying me with irrelevant information. Having owned iPhones for years now, when the first Apple watch came out I was definitely intrigued. Then the second generation came out with more features and I paid closer attention. Well now that the Series 3 is out with GPS (the version I purchased) I couldn't be happier. It's a nice slick interface, just like you are used to with Apple. The watch faces are clear, and interesting, and incredibly customizable. I like the fact that it tracks indicators of heartbeat, distances, flights of stairs etc, without you even having to do anything to the watch. It's just doing it all in the background, so it's not obtrusive. You get reminders to breathe or stand up every now and again, but you can turn those off if necessary. Connecting your phone to Apple CarPlay, the navigation also shows up on your watch, and it vibrates when you are coming up to your next intersection or direction change which is pretty neat. Overall, I'm really happy with the watch, I mean it shows the time, just like you'd like a watch to, but it also shows notifications from my smart home, if cameras have been triggered etc (all via a connected phone) I didn't go with the cellar version. Emails show up nicely on there, as do attachments and pictures. A neat feature I didn't know the watches incorporated is the ability to talk and hear phone calls through it, very 'Star Trek'! Only consideration I have is to not club the watch off of walls or desks etc, being as it's an expensive piece of kit!

I owned two of the watches over the last couple years and was very happy with the ease of use. The integration between Apple products is fantastic as always. However, both watches died on me in less than 8 months. The first one I used apple care but I didn’t know apple care required you to still pay 50% of the price of the products to replace it. I thought the whole point was to pay for apple care and get a replacement for free if needed. Sadly the same exact thing happened to the second one. I got my father one and his had gone black for a week and then it just came back to life unlike the two I owned. He is still using his everyday 2 years later.

I want so much to love this watch because I am truly an "Apple" person, but I do not. Everything about this watch is incredibly difficult, from setting the face and just being able to click and see the time, etc. It is also INCREDIBLY delicate. I mean, if you look at the thing the wrong way it gets dinged / cracked. The durability SUCKS in my opinion. The battery life could also be way better. I'm giving it 2 stars because it looks cool and the concept is cool, and the connectivity to other Apple products is very cool. But, this will be my last Apple Watch purchase - this is number 3, and 3 strikes & you're out...

I was reluctant to purchase this watch because I thought I had everything I needed on my iPhone. I liked the look of the Microsoft and Samsung fitness band and only used those items. However all those bands broke constantly. I decided to go with the watch and it has been great. Especially for tracking my activity.

So I purchased my first apple watch several years ago and fell in love, it's super convenient, handy, and efficient, super customizable and just plain cool. I use it whenever I can and to me it's completely worth it, however, my first watch (series 1) was not the shatter-resistant sport watch, it was the super durable expensive scratch-proof one I paid like $600-ish bucks for. When updating to the series 3 it took me less than a week and a scratched screen to realize that it didn't come with the durable screen like my last one and granted, I didn't pay quite as much the first one because I incorrectly figured it wasn't a breakout product like the first one so they were trying to make them a little more affordable as it was still a quite a hefty price-tag, but lesson learned... I guess you can order one with the crazy durable screen for a significant upcharge but my advice is don't assume its there and go ahead and purchase a screen protector. (which did make the watch less receptive to my touch)

I bought this as a gift for my wife. It replaced the version 1 watch that she had cracked the glass on. She loves it of course!

This is my 1st and only smart watch Ive ever owned, being an iphone user i wanted the watch to fully interface with all it can from iOS capabilities. I mostly used it for heart rate and the workout options. The heart rate seemed pretty dead on when i would use a different device in conjunction with this to compare results. I liked how it could detect if you started a workout activity and it mapped when u did your walk so you could see were it tracked your steps. The native health app in iphone shows great fitness tracking results when is all used together. Is water proof i used it in pools with no problem. being an electronic device i wouldnt use it on the beach tho. But on that water proof note.. I no longer have it since I cracked its screen while swimming so water got into it and stopped working, after drying it wouldn't even recharge so it died.

Works as it should. It’s shiny and pretty. But the glass scratches pretty easily.

Let me start by saying after having a Garmin for many years, this has been a great watch for my running and keeping record of my exercise. However, after only two month the main button for all apps isn't responding to my touch. Everything else seems to working fine. But this glitch has me worried about the longevity of the watch. After much debate between the Garmin and Apple watch, I chose the Apple and I'm a bit sorry I did.

I originally got this as a gift but I cracked the screen on a concrete surface so this was a replacement. Decent performance but the model is long in the tooth. Apple Watch SE might be a better value at this point but jump on the Series 3 if the price is great.

This is the 7th of 8 apple watches I’ve purchase in less than 3 years. (For myself and wife and kids) It’s a great product that lasts just past the warranty and extended warranty (of course ). Still love the product though and will continue to purchase/upgrade.

The iWatch cannot be beat. Period. I suggest getting a cover for the front portion as the glass can break if you’re not careful. Other than that everything works well!

I had been using a Fitbit for the last year and a half. Watch and band was very fragile and fortunately I had an extended warranty. After the 3rd issue with the Fitbit decided to upgrade.

Good product but like most Apple products, it’s more complex to use than most users need. Additionally, deserved or not, friends have indicated it will fail shortly after the 1 yr. warranty is voided and it will be almost as expensive to repair as purchasing a new one. At this point I have not had that experience but my daughter just purchased it for me for Xmas.

This is my second Apple Watch. I cracked the screen on the first one and wanted a replacement right away. The faster processor is a great bonus!

Unfortunately I had to buy another one because this one broke. But I loved it for the time that it worked!

Absolutely garbage watch, worth spending more to get a nicer one tbh. This thing stopped working on me after a few months and I barely even used it. I now use the Apple Watch Ultra and love it. Huge price difference between the two but if you can afford a nicer model then you should just get something nicer.

Solid watch, use it for lots of things. Lost a star because I had to buy this one as a replacement as the last one (same model) the face popped off. Got a couple years out of it though.
